Neston High School support our Powerhouse team with crucial PPE

Staff at a school in Cheshire have been supporting our frontline teams by making and assembling face visors.

James Burns, acting Service Delivery Manager at the Powerhouse, manages the distribution of Personal Protective Equipment to our frontline teams in his region. After noticing a short supply of face visors, a colleague suggested he get in touch with Fir Tree, one of Riverside’s grounds maintenance contractors in Liverpool City Region, for help.

Within days, over 300 face visors arrived at The Powerhouse thanks to Fir Tree’s connection with Neston High School in Cheshire. Staff at the school have been making and assembling face visors for key workers, to help them deliver essential services safely.

James said: “We’re so grateful to Neston High School for the support. It’s great to see such amazing community spirit during this strange, uncertain time.”

Face visors are a crucial part of the PPE for our frontline workers, and will ensure our team at the Powerhouse can continue to work safely and provide essential support services for our customers.

A huge thank you to staff at Neston High School and Fir Tree for their support!
