Supported Living

Newbury House is a supported accommodation project for people who have experience of long term rough sleeping and complex needs.

Support and accommodation is provided for any gender, singles or couples with or without animals, who are currently rough sleeping with complex needs or found other services are not suitable for their needs. The age range is from 18 years+.

Access to Newbury House is via our dedicated outreach team, who work across Manchester identifying customers who need support. If you are aware of someone who has been rough sleeping for a long period of time please feel free to contact the scheme for a chat.

Newbury House also has 8 emergency beds, these are shared rooms and can be used for respite or for customers to see if the like the service and get to know the staff. They are also used whilst waiting for long term accommodation.

We have an onsite nurse once a week, an alcohol and drug worker and visiting social worker.

Support offered is tailored to the individual and they dictate the pace of the support.

We have a number of volunteers working in the service and peer support from our experts by experience.

The accommodation at Newbury House features communal lounge, dining room and kitchen. Each customer has a self-contained furnished bedroom with en-suite toilet and shower room.
