Centre 28 is a local council commissioned supported service for young people aged 16-21yrs which comprises a 25-bed supported accommodation split into 5 houses under 1 roof.

There are 5 bedrooms per house and each house also has 2 shared Bathrooms, a toilet, a kitchen and a lounge.

This service is staffed 24 hrs a day. Support offered  includes help with physical and mental health, addictions, life skills, benefits and budgeting, education, work and volunteering, and  access to other specialist services.

Intensive Outreach and Cosford, Hull

The intensive outreach service comprises of 4 independent flats in close proximity to Centre 28. These are designed as a next step for young people with more autonomy. They are supported Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

These flats can also contact or visit Centre 28 for support outside of the main support hours.

Cosford is a block of four self-contained flats located in north Hull.

They are for young people getting ready for their own independent accommodation. support is provided 9-5 Monday to Wednesday.

Young peoples floating support service, Hull

This team support 15 young customers who have moved into Hull City Council properties, across the city.

The support helps with looking after their new home, setting up and managing utilities, grants for furniture, help with debts, accessing services like GP, dentist etc. They work alongside care leaver teams and other services in the local authority.

Floating support takes place between 9am and 5pm Monday to Fridays.


All three services can only be referred to by contacting the local authority homelessness services, either at Kenworthy house, Targeted Youth Team for 16-17 yr olds and the Wilson Centre for people aged 18-21yrs.
