With over 28 years of experience in the new homes industry, mostly spent with Taylor Wimpey and its legacy companies, Nigel is currently the Director of Gnosis Executive Limited.

Starting in Sales & Marketing and with roles as a Managing Director and Divisional Managing Director, he has a strong land procurement, commercial management and customer service focus.

Nigel has a Board advisory role with Thakeham Homes since January 2025. He has previously been the Chair of the Home Builders Federation South West Region.

Richard Williams
Richard Williams

Richard is an experienced CEO, having operated across the Public and Private Sectors specialising in the areas of Healthcare, Retirement & Housing. He recently set up Brigid Investment Limited on behalf of John Laing and was CEO of the business. It is the largest owner and investor of specialist new build retirement rental assets across the UK. Previously he was CEO of Rangeford, a Retirement Development and Domiciliary Care Business and a Managing Director at McCarthy Stone. He has also worked as a Director at St Andrew's Healthcare, and Octopus Healthcare.

He holds several Non Executive Director roles, with a Local Authority owned Residential Development Company, BexleyCo and a Primary Care Asset Owner, Community Health Partnerships, an NHS backed Investment and Operating Company and was previously Group Vice Chair of Abri.

Roshan Ramlugun

Appointed August 2024

Roshan is Chief Operating Officer at Student Home Management, the operating platform of a private equity-backed student housing fund. He is responsible for leading the business's asset management, development, retrofitting and operational functions as it builds and scales a national portfolio of high-quality HMO student accommodation.

Prior to joining Student Home Management, Roshan was Sector Lead for Residential, UK & Ireland at AXA IM Alts, one of the world's largest investment managers. During his time there, he led the restoration and decarbonisation strategy for the iconic Dolphin Square estate in Pimlico, alongside overseeing a 3,500-home Irish residential portfolio with a focus on operational performance and long-term value creation.

Before joining AXA IM Alts, Roshan was a Partner and Head of Residential at Addington Capital, where he specialised in acquiring, regenerating and repositioning residential assets and operating businesses across the UK with private equity backing. He has extensive experience in residential investment, asset management and operational real estate, adopting a hands-on approach to driving change and delivering value.

Earlier in his career, Roshan worked in JLL Corporate Finance, advising investors on the acquisition and development of purpose-built student accommodation.

In addition to his professional roles, Roshan serves as a Managing Trustee for Open Palm, a charity dedicated to improving career opportunities for young people from underrepresented backgrounds.

Janet Townsend

Appointed November 2024

Working predominantly for public sector bodies such as London Transport Property, English Partnerships and the London Development Agency, Janet is a Chartered Surveyor with over 35 years’ experience of large-scale property development and regeneration projects, mainly in London, including the Royal Docks, Greenwich Peninsula, and Lewisham.

Janet worked for the London Legacy Development Corporation as Director of Development, where she was responsible for the preparation of their Housing Delivery Strategy, setting out the strategic direction and programme for the delivery of over 5,500 new homes on and around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and lead its implementation through Development Agreements and the establishment of Joint Venture Partnerships.

At English Partnerships, Janet worked with a wide range of public and private sector partners, devising and implementing funding and profit-sharing arrangements, agreeing complex funding terms with developers to innovatively use grant money to leverage regeneration outputs from development schemes.

Keith Carnegie

Appointed April 2026

Until December 2023, Keith was Chief Executive of the Vistry Housebuilding Division of Vistry Group having joined Bovis Homes in 1999.

Keith joined Bovis Homes as Legal Director having been a partner in private practice in Gloucester. He has held a number of senior roles within Bovis Homes, including Regional Managing Director, Divisional Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Director.

He now sits on the boards of Clarkson Evans – the largest electrical contractor to the new build homes industry in England and Wales; CSA Environmental – a leading Environmental and Planning Consultancy; and Housing 21 – a leading, not for profit provider of Retirement Living and Extra Care for older people of modest means across England.
