Nicolla is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and an experienced Housing Manager with a strong background in delivering frontline housing services. She is deeply committed to social justice and ensuring that housing services are fair, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of all tenants.
Nicolla is particularly passionate about advocating for those who are often unheard or misunderstood — the “silent customers” who may not speak up but whose experiences matter just as much. She believes in creating space for every voice and shaping services that reflect the realities of the communities they serve.
With a practical, people-first approach and a strong sense of empathy, Nicolla brings insight, compassion, and accountability to her work in housing.

Kasandra is a dynamic leader with experience administering new, emerging, and legacy regulatory
compliance governance frameworks. She works within the social housing sector as a leader looking
after regulatory compliance, governance and assurance service departments. Kasandra is passionate
about working within organisations driven by social purposes that embraces their ability to transform
the lives of people living within minoritized communities.
Kasandra is currently completing her PhD in Law on a full scholarship at the Department of Law,
University of Leicester. Her expertise looks at how laws operate as part of social, economic and
political processes within society and, specifically how laws impact British African-Caribbean people.
In addition to this, Kasandra is a Graduate Teaching Assistant administering Tort Law tutorials to first
year international and home students completing Leicester’s Law LLB degree.
Kasandra actively works on social justice and Pro Bono projects. Whilst completing her International
Human Rights Master of Laws she was one of the first cohort of law students to work on the University
of Leicester’s Justice For Windrush Pro Bono project and she is one of the project’s past Co-Directors.
