A series of community events were held over the summer for residents in Leicester, Derby, Stoke, Kent and London.

The events have varied from allotment days and summer fun days to arts and crafts events, and tenant scrutiny sessions. They were supported by Riverside’s Community Engagement Fund, and in partnership with external agencies and residents.

Consultation exercises were carried out at many of the events to liaise with our residents to improve our services.

Community Engagement Officer Wendy Mason said: “These events help us to get to speak to our tenants about issues that concern them.

“They also build a sense of community spirit in our neighbourhoods and bring together people that might not normally mix.

“We hope everyone who attended an event enjoyed themselves. Look out for more coming soon.”
