Riverside is working in partnership with Cumbria Adult Education and local care providers to provide a pathway into the care sector

You are invited to join an eight-day Level One Adult Social Care training course at Greystone Community Centre, Botchergate, Carlisle, starting on 23^rd Feb 2016. Training will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays over four weeks.

On the course you will have an introduction to adult social care; learn about roles and responsibilities, awareness of communication, along with skills and attitudes required for the role.

You will also have the opportunity to learn about employability skills; identify your own key skills, personal presentation and have a chance to practice your interview skills and techniques.

Learners will be invited to attend a “Meet the Care Provider” event, where you will learn about their organisation, job roles, work placement opportunities and existing job vacancies.
