Riverside’s Liverpool-based Home Ownership team held a group residents’ meeting with Cumbria leaseholders for the first time since management of their properties was transferred from divisional operations.
The 50 attendees found out about what being a leaseholder means and the services we offer.
They discovered how our scrutiny panels act as critical friends, helping Riverside to improve services, and given details of how they could get involved.
Residents said they were happy to know the team dealing with their queries and felt the new relationship would bring improvements to service delivery and communication.
Leader of Carlisle City Council Colin Glover, who attended the meeting, said: “I would like to thank Riverside for arranging the leaseholders meeting.
“Effective communication is essential and this was a good opportunity for customers to meet staff and have questions answered. I look forward to more events like this in the future.”
