On Wednesday 22 August Riverside will be part of the official opening of the recently refurbished Community Reach Centre on Shadygrove Road, Raffles area of Carlisle.

The event is to mark the recent work carried out by Riverside’s contractor Novus.  Mayor of Carlisle – Jessica Riddle will also be attending the event at 11.30am to open the doors to the community. 

The open day will run throughout the day and all members of community are invited.  There will be a variety of entertainment and activities for families including fancy dress competition, children’s entertainer, face painter, glitter tattoo, peppa pig, bouncy castle and a fire engine.

In addition Riverside staff will be on hand to help local customers with information on money advice, affordable warmth and employment & training opportunities.
