As part of its ongoing commitment to support local communities, Riverside has provided £200 towards new play equipment in Longtown
Reverend Russell Tague approached Riverside to help fund new equipment for Arthuret Church Kids Club which welcomes children aged 0- 10 years to Longtown Community Centre every Wednesday from 5.00pm to 6.30pm.

“A big thank you to Riverside for their donation. This has helped us get the things the kids will need. The Kids Club is really well attended and is a fantastic opportunity for children in the area to play in a safe and exciting environment”
Stella Eggleston, Riverside Neighbourhood Planning Officer says “Riverside manages over 200 homes in Longtown, and we have just produced a neighbourhood plan after carrying out consultation with customers to identify what their key priorities were in local area. It came through clearly just how strong the community spirit is in Longtown; one of the issues was that people wanted something more for children and young people so we are delighted to have been able to support the Arthuret Kid’s Club. Some of the feedback Riverside received during the consultation was about issues they could not tackle alone, so a Partnership of local agencies, including the Community Centre, Local Councillors, Cumbria County Council, Primary School, Barnardos, members of the community and the Police has been set up by Riverside to help address the community’s key priorities.”
