Riverside community engagement manager Rupa Chandarana said: “The landscaping and fencing was tired and dilapidated, and after this issue was raised by tenants, I worked with our local housing officer, Esuf, to devise a plan to give the area a new lease of life.”

It’s great to see the difference we’ve made in this community.

Riverside housing officer Esuf Sarafat said: “It’s great to see the difference we’ve made in this community. Thanks to help from Leicester Probation Community Payback Team and paint donated by Akzonoble (Dulux), the project investment from Riverside for extra paint and some panel repairs was in the region of just £700, but has made a huge improvement to the look of 48 homes and the surrounding neighbourhood.”
