Riverside held a coffee morning to welcome neighbours to their new homes in Centenary Close, Stanhope. We hosted the event to welcome neighbours to the estate and to encourage tenants of the 23 two and three-bedroom houses and bungalows to get to know each other.

Riverside also asked tenants for ideas on what they would like to see come out of the ‘legacy fund’ to assist with a project relevant to the new development, one which would bring added value to the community.

Community Engagement Team Leader Lee Bailey said: “It’s been a really positive event and a fantastic opportunity for our new tenants to get to know each other.” Dave Caster, who moved into his new home with his wife Denise, said: “This is a lovely community, and the homes are beautiful. “We are both really happy to be in such a neighbourly community.”
