Riverside has provided £1,000 of funding, split between foodbanks in Newcastle and Hull.

We donated £500 each to Newcastle West End Foodbank and Hull Foodbank. Part of the Trussell Trust, the foodbanks provide emergency aid for people in crisis. Non-perishable items are donated by schools, churches, businesses and individuals, and gathered through supermarket collections.

Riverside’s Lee Bailey said: “At a time when many are struggling with finances, it’s fantastic that there are valuable services like this that our tenants can take advantage of. “I’m proud to support the foodbanks and I’m looking forward to working closely with them in the future.”
