St Ambrose Court’s 10th anniversary

This summer marked St Ambrose Court’s 10th anniversary of providing purpose-built, safe and secure housing, with support for people in Hull affected by learning disabilities.

The birthday event included a BBQ, cream tea and commemorative tree planting at the scheme. Officially opened in 2005 by Lord Mayor Councillor Bryan Bradley and Councillor Diane Johnson, the scheme continues to be run as a partnership between Riverside, Hull Churches Housing Association Ltd and Hull City Council.

The centre also hosts regular health and well-being activities, including cycling, football and its ‘Plant, Grow, Cook and Eat’ project at the on-site allotment.
