Childwall Valley Estate Management Board (EMB) has received a national award in recognition of its work in the community.

The Childwall-based Tenant Management Organisation works in partnership with Riverside to manage the Hartsbourne Estate. For the second year on the run, the Board and staff were thrilled to win an award for outstanding housing management performance at the National Federation of Tenant Management Organisations.

Deb Clisham, EMB Manager, said: “This prestigious award reflects the hard work our Board and staff do on behalf of our residents. “We are proud to achieve national recognition for our team. There are over 120 tenant management organisations, so we were absolutely delighted for our Chair, Joan Minard, who won the award for being a good neighbour. If any of our residents want to get involved, they can call in to our office at any time – we are always looking for new volunteers and there is plenty to do.”
