Clean up in Dovecot makes a difference

Riverside staff get stuck in during the Lovin' Dovey clean up

Staff from Riverside and Liverpool City Council joined Knotty Ash ward councillors and young people and volunteers from Priority Youth Project and M&H Academy for a big clean up in Alstonfield Road, Dovecot.

As part of the Lovin’ Dovey initiative, organisations, councillors and residents came together to help make Dovecot a great place to live, work and play.

Activities on the day, which was a huge success, included litter picking, fence painting, brushing up, weeding, and filling skips with rubbish.

More roads will be included as the programme rolls on, so watch this space and do your bit to keep Dovecot clean and green. Search for #LovinDovey on Twitter to find out more.
