Riverside has staged a number of highly successful events recently, designed to inspire youngsters in Yew Tree, West Derby and Knotty Ash wards. 

As part of the Liverpool East Youth Consortium, for which Riverside is the lead body, young people have taken part
in activities including cooking classes, sport, outdoor pursuits and play sessions.

The work of the consortium is supported by ward councillors and Lord Mayor Councillor Tony Concepcion. 

He said: “Riverside is our major social landlord and has a long track record of working in the community to 
understand the issues and problems.

“It has the expertise and knowledge to work with us to deliver services for our young people. We’re really glad
they’re on board.”
