Pensioners from Langley enjoyed a Christmas party courtesy of Riverside.

Tenants and residents gathered at Demesne Community Centre to enjoy entertainment and a festive buffet.

The partying pensioners were able to receive advice from Boots and the Fire Service on how to keep safe at home throughout the winter months.

They were also able to get a free health check, stock up on mini Christmas cakes, jewellery and festive goodies provided by Woodhaven Freespirit.

Volunteers from Pure Innovations served tea, coffee and the buffet.

Pensioners in Colshaw Farm were also treated to a festive bash.

Sarah Dennis, recently chosen as the Veterans’ Sweetheart, provided
entertainment. A raffle, with items donated by the business community, raised funds for residents’ group CETRA.
