What is the Young Person and Single Parent Project?

Supported housing empowers people who have faced homelessness and who have a range of issues that they need support  with. We offer a range of services and specialist staff to help residents make informed choices about their lives. The service user is allocated a dedicated and experienced support worker to implement a tailored

STEPS program.

We work with local authorities and professional agencies to develop specialist facilities for groups as diverse as young people, those with drug and alcohol misuse problems, ex-offenders, homeless people and single teenage parents.

Facilities and services

Single room in a house with shared facilities The houses are fully furnished, washing, cooking and all household items provided The service users pay a set weekly charge for utilities Two houses allocated to care leavers Move on service Dedicated staff and access to 24 our support Young Persons & Single Parents Project

How it works?

Young Persons & Single Parents Project accepts referrals from Derby City Council, Social Services, Probation Services, After Care Services and other Agencies who work with the client group. Placements are subject to interview. Criteria for applications: — Single people — Single teenage parents — Male and Female — Aged 16 – 25 — General support needs — Homeless or at serious risk of becoming homeless.
