Working in partnership with Westleigh Homes and Corby Borough Council the development consists of 24 new affordable homes on the former site of the derelict Glasgow Rangers Club along Rockingham Road, providing much-needed new homes in Corby. The community day gave residents a chance to meet local Riverside staff, find out about support and services available including Affordable Warmth advice, as well as an opportunity to meet local councillors and Westleigh designers.

Gary Turner, Head of Investment and Partnership at Westleigh, said: “These new homes have come to fruition as a result of a great working partnership with Riverside Housing Group and Corby Borough Council, which has allowed us to build a diverse mix of properties on a disused site. We are thrilled to see that the development is proving to be a success.”

Corby Borough Council’s Lead Member for Housing, Cllr Bob Eyles, said, “Its fantastic news that the homes have been snapped up so quickly. Offering affordable housing in Corby is a huge priority to us. I hope the new tenants and homeowners settle in quickly and enjoy life in their new home.”
