Riverside has supported the Walker YMCA by buying an Apple Mac computer worth more than £900.
The Apple Mac for Youth project works with people aged between 13 and 25 to deliver programmes and activities to support them. By helping to develop their personal and social skills, the project ensures they are better equipped to make positive life choices.
Young people will be able to use the Mac software to create and edit films and videos of projects in which they have been involved, as well as creating posters and pieces of digital art.
It will also be available for young people to access the internet to look for jobs, and complete benefit forms and housing applications.
