Update on the way that we serve you…

In the January edition of Your Riverside, we asked for your comments on proposals to close some of our reception desks.

We put forward the changes because less than two per cent of customers now come to see us at an office.

We’ve also increased the number of Housing Officers working in neighbourhoods, meaning it’s easier than ever to speak to us face-to-face at a time and place that suits you.

Thank you to those who came back to us with feedback. We had responses from 13 people and we’re working directly with them to address individual issues they raised.

After reviewing the responses, we still believe it’s more efficient to use the rent and service charges you pay to concentrate on providing services in your neighbourhood, online and over the phone.

As a result, the following reception counters will close:

  • Halton, Halton Brook: Thursday 29 March
  • Wirral, Argyle Street: Thursday 29 March
  • Liverpool, Walton Road: Thursday 31 May

A new service for you

If you need to see us, your new neighbourhood service means we can come to you, rather than you coming to an office.

We’ve now got 40 per cent more Housing Officers and they’re working more flexible hours, from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. It means if you do need to see us face-to-face, we’re better placed to meet you somewhere that’s convenient for you.

Call us on 0345 111 0000, email [email protected] or talk to us on web chat about how we can help.
