Access to free period products

Supporting dignity, choice, and health equality

Access to period products is not a luxury, it’s a matter of health equality and dignity. We offer disposable packs that will cover six months including tampons and pads or a pack of disposable products which can include period knickers, cups and reusable pads.

We encourage tenants to consider reusable products where possible – they’re better for the environment and more cost-effective over time but we appreciate that people have different preferences – one size does not fit all!

How to access free products

We are currently piloting this project in three areas: Stoke, Thanet and Tower Hamlets. We understand that privacy matters, so we’ve made sure there are discreet and flexible ways to access support.

  • Stoke and Thanet: You can order through your Housing Officer or if preferred, request home deliver online via our partner, HeyGirls, using their online portal: heygirls.co.uk/riverside-group-home-packs
  • Tower Hamlets: Products are available at the community centres listed below. Tenants can also request home delivery via our partner; Hey Girls.
  • Phoenix Heights community Centre, E14 9AR
  • Virginia Quays Community Centre, E14
  • Barkantine Hall, E14 8NH
  • Samuda 50p Club, E14 3ZT
  • SELMO Club 55, E14 3ZT
  • St Johns Community Centre, E14 3NE
