Riverside is embarking on an ambitious £60 million regeneration project to transform Hallwood Park and Palace Fields in the Halton Lea area of Runcorn. Over the last three years, we have been working closely with local people to find out how to make the area a better place to live.   

Through workshops, surveys, events and meetings with residents, businesses, community groups and others, we have been exploring opportunities to improve housing, the environment, public safety, transport links and community activities.  

Our aim is to create a well-designed neighbourhood with high-quality, energy efficient homes, improved landscaping and a thriving local centre with shops, services and community spaces. 

Riverside has a long history in Runcorn and owns a significant number of homes in Hallwood Park and Palace Fields. We know the area has a strong sense of community spirit and we want to make sure we deliver the changes the community wants. To do this, we are investing £30 million with a further £30 million coming from public funding.
