The plans for the Local Centre involve re-designing the area to provide a new heart for the community to deliver a new community space, facilities and services for residents and to create safe and connected travel routes.

In August 2023 we received approved planning permission for the Local Centre which will deliver 134 new homes, a new church, a new community café, a new community centre and new commercial units.

Timeline for delivery  

In October 2023, we shared the first 9 months of planned work, which started in February 2024. In summer 2024 we will share the next stages of planned work. Please check the website for regular updates.
