Homeless families
PrintWe offer a range of services to homeless families, including temporary accommodation as an alternative to B&B whilst awaiting a formal housing offer from Local Authorities, to a full support service which enables people to identify the reasons for becoming homeless in order to avoid these in the future. Staff work on tenancy sustainment and resilience with individuals in order to ensure future or repeated homelessness is avoided.
Where support is available/commissioned, key workers will work closely with other agencies to ensure the family receives the tailored support needed to meet the needs of each family member, making resettlement more achievable and providing a more stable future for the children and entire family unit. This ensures that the homeless children today do not become the homeless adults of the future.

Sefton Families Service
Sefton Families Service comprises 20 2/3 bed furnished properties located across the Sefton borough provided to families experiencing homelessness. Families will receive support from our Specialist Support Worker to help them sustain their tenancy and other support needs they may have, for example with benefits, debt, rent arrears, health, domestic abuse, hate crime and/or anti-social behaviour.
