You can apply for many of our homes on different websites and through local authorities.

In some areas this is via a waiting list that you need to register for. The other option is through a local choice based lettings partnership which lets you apply for the homes you’re interested in rather than going on a waiting list. Where possible, we advertise our homes through these lettings partnerships where you can see properties from lots of landlords all in one place.

In some areas, a number of properties are also given to people referred by the local authority. This is called a local authority nomination.

Search for the area that you want to live in below and follow the instructions for the relevant scheme in that area. The process does involve filling in some forms online so please be ready for that.

Riverside advertises many of its properties through the Westminister Home Connections site

Any property available for letting through Choice Based Lettings is advertised via Home Connections. Properties are available for bidding each week from Wednesday morning to midnight on Sunday. The Housing Options Service will contact shortlisted applicants only to view properties once the bidding has closed.

Whenever a suitable property becomes ready to let it is advertised on the CBL website on a weekly basis. The number of properties will vary each week depending on what properties are available. The bidding opens every Wednesday and closes at midnight the following Sunday. On occasions bidding may be extended for example over Christmas/New Year. We will notify applicants of any bidding or CBL-related changes in the property flyer and on the Home Connections website.

During the bidding period applicants will be able to ‘bid’ for a home and their position for a property will depend on their priority (the number of points they have) and not when the bid is placed. If two applicants bid for the same property and have the same number of points, the property will be offered to the household who has been on the list the longest or has the highest mobility category.
