You can apply for many of our homes on different websites and through local authorities.

In some areas this is via a waiting list that you need to register for. The other option is through a local choice based lettings partnership which lets you apply for the homes you’re interested in rather than going on a waiting list. Where possible, we advertise our homes through these lettings partnerships where you can see properties from lots of landlords all in one place.

In some areas, a number of properties are also given to people referred by the local authority. This is called a local authority nomination.

How do I apply for a home?

Search for the area that you want to live in below and follow the instructions for the relevant scheme in that area. The process does involve filling in some forms online so please be ready for that.

 

Riverside offer a number of their properties through Trafford Home Search. Homes are advertised weekly, with new properties being added every Wednesday. You can search online or find out availability from HOST You will need to register your details first to be able to bid. You can bid for a property either online, texting, visiting HOST or by telephone. You can bid on any property; however preference will be given to members whose requirements match the property type and size. If a member has refused two reasonable offers of property within three months they will be down banded for twelve months. You can bid between 10am Wednesday to midnight the following Sunday, but only once per property. Successful members will be contacted by the property landlord and given the chance to view the property. You will be able to see your final position in your bid history on the web.
